Leah Schlein

2026 AULSA President

On behalf of the Adelaide University Law Students’ Association (AULSA) Committee, I extend a very warm welcome to the AULSA website and Adelaide Law School.

It is a great honour to serve as 2026 President and lead a team of 56 dedicated law student volunteers who are committed to representing and advocating for approximately 1900 undergraduate law students studying at the new Adelaide University.

2026 is a milestone year for our association. Following the merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia, the Adelaide University Law Students' Society (AULSS) and the UniSA Law Students' Association (USALSA) have combined their expertise to start a new chapter as the AULSA. We are immensely proud of the histories and achievements of the AULSS and USALSA and look forward to building on their strengths, traditions and rich legacies as a unified association.

This year we will continue to strive to create opportunities for students at each stage of their law journey to connect with peers, network with industry professionals, and to develop skills that will help them succeed both at law school and in their legal careers.

I invite you to contact me if you have a question, idea, or suggestion as to how we can advance our offerings, support our students, and further contribute to the AULSA’s rich legacy.
